Will You Rise to the Challenge?

Tomorrow I officially start a regular weight loss routine.. Going to the gym 5 days out of the week.. I also found a gym within my community with a low cost plan.. It doesn't have the newest and shiniest equipment but it will get the job done (plus has a pool for use year round).. I also found a website called Precision Nutrition that can project your weight loss and goal weight timelines.. I would only use it as a compass of sorts (some of the timelines seem unrealistic in the longterm.)..
I also don't plan on using the holidays as an excuse to wait until January of 2017 to start an exercise plan this year.. So, tell me people of MyFitnessPal will you rise to the challenge of not procrastinating this year to start your fitness journey?

Just remember, weight loss is 90% what happens in the kitchen, not the gym. Exercise is great for fitness but you have to keep calories under control for weight loss. You got this.3

Good to know you've already been at it for 2 months.. I've given myself a 2 month trial period for my gym to see where it takes me.. I usually hate the idea of gyms.. But a gym with a pool is a gem during colder months so I'm not complaining.

Three years and still going.. I look at it as Thanksgiving is one day.. Christmas is one day, well two, gotta include Christmas eve.. and...
There are plenty of other days in between there are no excuses to stop exercise and exercise (no pun intended) self control.. I will do nothing different that I do not already do every day of the week. Everything remains priority.0 -

That's an awesome dedication to taking care of your health.. Did you go to the gym for three years or was it more so being active outside? At what point does working out become less of a chore?0 -

I started with basic walking and progressed from there.. One day at a time.. one goal at a time.
I use paid gym, outside (for running) and I made a small investment in a home gym.. I do work from home, sometimes this works better for my schedule.
Never ever becomes a chore.. Its now part of what I do just like brushing teeth and taking a shower!0
