probably a repeat, but I'm curious

I'm just wondering if anyone else on nightshift finds it difficult to meet their calories. Since mine roll over in the middle of my awake time it feels like it's harder to me. Just wondering if any other night owls have this issue?

I don't... but just thought I'd offer a solution. If you go to settings, you can change your time zone. Just adjust it to make it suit your schedule better. :) That's what I'd do if I were still on graves....

No, I eat more at work than at home, so it's not a big deal to me....plus I hardly ever eat the calories from my exercise.

I'm one of those that believes the "starvation" mode is pretty much a myth as long as you are eating constantly though.

I eat regularly and I'm always above 1200 before my workouts, and I even work at home, but I find it harder to hit my numbers on the days that I work then on my days off when I live a normal dayshift schedule. Strikes me as odd I guess

I don't buy into starvation mode either. There is no possible way my body would starve with all this fat it has to munch on if I only eat 1,000 calories a day.... lol

I'm a nightshift girl and I just start my calorie day on the day that I wake up. It makes for a short day on the day I switch back to daytime living, but I work with it. No problems here!

I don't bring anything to work with me to eat, just a yogurt. so thats all I can eat. I work in a prison so I can't order out, not that anyone healthy is up at this hour to bring food to me... But it works for me. I try not to eat from 8pm to 6 am. like if I had a normal life. I have the yogurt at 6, then go home after work at 8 and work out. usually have something at 10 or so, then go to sleep. When I get up at like 4 or so, I have my breakfast which is usually dinner. but it seems to be working for me. the toughest part is going to work out after work first thing in the morning, I would rather sleep, but I fight the urge. plus the good workout makes it easier to sleep.

AWESOME solution! I live in Australia, and our time zone is pretty much opposite to the rest of the world. so that's one you could try.
