Denise Austin Workouts

Anyone on here work out to Denise Austin DVD's? I have used her inspiring workout videos since she was on Fit and Lite in the mornings on Lifetime. I love her positivity and she seems to understand that everyone has different levels and tries to accommodate the beginner all the way to the advanced.

Plus, her diet advise (Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Queen and Dinner like a Pauper) really helps me keep things in perspective when trying to lose weight. She also promotes eating healthy 80% of the time and having your snacks or treats 20% of the time keeping the balance realistic and encouraging.

I just worked out to her "POWER ZONE" DVD with the resistance bands. It was a great 25 min. workout and comes in a set of 3 DVD's. Cardio, Toning/Strength Training and Abs. I just wanted a little extra "boost" to get me moving and shaking again after starting my weight loss journey. It reminded me how much I enjoy working out to Denise and also how conscious she is about warming you up before the workout and stretching you afterwards. I'm not knocking the Jillian fans doing to the 30 day shred, but I like the way that Denise stresses "go at your own pace" mantra and doesn't seem to be as annoying as most people seem to find Jillian. :) Thanks!! :)

    I enjoy Denise Austin DVDs. I started using them around 1997 , when I had my first child . She helped me get back in shape . I have most of her DVDs . My fav is Pilates for Everybody. My favorite book of hers is Jumpstart.
