So like I seasoned a whole chicken with rosemary for Easter this year so anyway I was wondering what spice or combination of will compliment my turkey this coming Thursday
My hubby bought me a spice rack recently so I have a ton of that helps

Use a brine... You will thank me.3

I like Herbs de Provence (a mix of savory, marjoram, rosemary, thyme, oregano you can buy pre-mixed), salt and pepper.1

Ok so my cat just stepped on my keyboard and managed to delete everything I just typed. So I will just go short this time - I agree that brining is good, and if you are looking for herbs that go well with a turkey for seasoning I would vote sage - I think it is a pretty traditional choice, and I know I like it.3

brining = good. I third that. However, I make a mean turkey that marinades in beer and apple cider vinegar instead of brine. It also gets butter + herb mix inserted between skin and meat. And stuffed. Thyme is good with turkey. Fresh thyme even better.
Can't wait for xmas to make itwe have it every xmas! (i'm not American, we dont Thanksgive in Australia)

I really like the beer and apple cider vinegar idea... Idk anything about brining but I'll probably look up some videos. It seems like a hassle and Idk about containers and stuff because I don't have anything to brine a turkey in and going to use a disposable turkey roaster... I saw a video on using a sage and butter mixture for the inside and out. I'll likely do that but as far brining goes I guess I'll educate myself a little and judge from there0 -
I brine my turkey but like a bit of bite to it, so I put on a little olive oil followed by a generous sprinkling of dry rub. Last year I used a Memphis BBQ rub; this year will be Cajun seasoning.0

You can also dry brine which is a lot less of a hassle.0 -

Dry brining is easier, IMO, and makes the skin extra crispy.1 -
I'm doing honey-mustard marinade/brines this year.0

I saw a recipe for apple cider turkey. I think I'm gonna do that
Not doing a brine because I dont have a big enough pot and it should turn out fine anyway0
