Scale Time?

When is the best time during the week to appropriately weight myself? I have heard so many different times before. For me right now I work out 6 days a week, and don't know when I should be weighing myself. Any advice is much appreciated.

    I try to do it the same day each week, when I first wake up in the morning, or in my case, when I get home from work on Sunday morning. I think as long as you do it the same time weekly you should be good. although I get on it daily, I only write it down once a week.

    Yeah like the poster above said, same day and time every week should show how you're doing.

    I weigh myself everyone monday morning around 5am.

    Each person chooses the day that works best for them. Mine is Monday. The key is sticking to the same day each week, and first thing in the morning, after you have used the bathroom, and preferably in the nude, to get a more accurate reading.

    The only other piece of advice I can offer is possible after a rest day so that the water starts to flush from your muscles and you aren't holding on to it

    iv heard first thing in the morning after youv wee'd.
    but i like to do it after my shower when my hairs finished drying..
    not sure why..

    Ya, i only get on once a week. I weight myself every sat morn shortly right after i am up. I workout 5x a week and i weigh myself on my rest day...i always have good results with this method. I have got on the scale here and there on any randon day and its always been up or the same..but if i wait and get on day 6...my results are best, always showing my loss.

    I started MFP on a Sunday Morning in March, so I stuck with the Sunday weigh ins! :) I get up, go to the bathroom, and then get on the scale!

    The scale and I aren't speaking these days. I weighed 6/29 and scheduled my next weigh in for 8/8, (ate/ate hahah). That will be my 10 week date on MFP. I know my weight loss will be slow because I'm over 200 pounds and over 60. I concentrating on eating smart and regular exercise and letting the results happen at the pace they will. :flowerforyou:

    I weigh myself Thursdays right after getting up. Seemed like a good middle of the week day to choose. Plus its right after hump day Wednesday so having weigh-ins the next morning helps me to eat well and exercise well on Wednesdays. (For some reason the mid day of the week I am traditionally the laziest :: 2 down 2 to go mentality I suppose).

    I also didn't want to weigh on the weekend or Mondays because weekends tend to be when social activities occur most and I am most likely to eat something I shouldn't or have a cheat meal or 2. Thus I don't want to be weighing near that! Although I generally double my workouts on the weekends because there is more time to workout available.

    I pretty much weigh everyday just to get an idea of what I have eaten and how its sitting with me and so forth. But only Thursday morning weigh-ins get recorded on MFP.
