Hi All,

My name is Leanne, and I need some SERIOUS help! I'm a really fussy eater and I am finding it difficult to eat healthy food and not get too bored of the same things.

Are there any other fussies out there that would like to add me and we can give each other food ideas and support?

Thanks!

Well, I find that I am more consitent with my loss when I eat a lot of the same foods over and over. So it may not be a bad thing that you don't like that many things. That said, if you are bored, try experimenting a little. You have to introduce a new food to a child 10 times before they can really grasp whether they like it or not...so just promise yourself you'll try something new every week, whether it's a fruit or vegetable, or whole grain bread or whatever. This way you'll learn what you do like :) Good luck!

if the same foods (that are good for you) bore you, try adding things to them such as MRS.DASH seasoning. (there is no salt, and only herbs and vegetables), additionally, i use LOTS of fresh ground pepper.
food can be boring, but adding spices to them do not add calories but add tons of taste.

there is a little snack i make that is about 120 (or so) calories.
corn tortillas (because they are tons lower in fat)
    MRS DASH southwest chipotle seasoning
    zero calorie cooking spray

    preheat toaster oven to 375
line a pan that fits the toaster oven with a small piece of foil
take 2 corn tortillas and cut them into wedges (or strips)
spray the pay lightly with cooking spray
then place the corn tortilla pieces on the tray and lightly spray them
sprinkle MRS DASH on top (i put a lot on)
put them in the toaster oven for about 15 mins
pull the pan out and carefully (they will be hot) turn each one over
sprinkle more MRS DASH on them
put them back in for about 10 mins or until they start to get hard.

when you pull them out dump them on a paper town (to blot up any excess oil)
    and enjoy them :)

the only calories are ones that are in the corn tortillas! and i use the taco size. great snack

    hope this helps

Thank both! Not sure if we get MRS DASH in the UK Keebler!
I think I will have to do a taste test with my other half (he is the only person I trust enough to give me new foods to try) - so he can blindfold me, and get a load of things that I've never tried and give them to me bit by bit - that way I don't know what it is, so therefore I don't make a pre judgement on whether I will like it or not!
