The number of hours that makes you hungry. Most people recommend eating immediately after exercising.3

You wait? Pfft, I have a protein bar in my mouth as I'm leaving the gym.10

As I said in Fitness and Exercise ...
Hours?
Sometimes I eat right in the middle of one of my workouts.
And it's rare I go more than about 30 minutes after a workout before eating. Sometimes more like 30 seconds.1 -
why wait? If you'd said before, I'd say 1 1/2 to 2 hours. After - best not to eat while driving!1

My short version of what I posted on your other thread... eat at your normal eating times..1 -

I eat as soon as I get home (10 min walk from my gym to my house) normally chicken as the protein will keep my muscles healthy etc. I personally don't eat anything right before the gym, it makes me feel sick, particularly first thing in the morning.1
