No I didn't... I was behind it by 1 second... I'm well chuffed with it though...

These are my numbers:

Ascent: 66 feet
Calories: 921

Mile 01 - Average 17.48 miles/h (28.13kph)

Not a patch on the TdF boys, but I'm happy. Bearing in mind on day one of my commuting (5th Apr 2011,) it took me 1h 7mins to ride to work :noway:

    Wow, that's amazing!

That certainly puts my 3 miles in 20 minutes to shame! LOL!

It's just a great feeling to cycle to work though, especially now I've found a nice off road route part of the way, makes my day start so well! I'm always chuffed with myself!

Keep up the good work and keep enjoying it!

Do you GPS record your rides? I have been using Endomondo to log my improvements

Always very pleasing to see a consistant improvement in performance. From your speeds I am assuming you are on a sports bike.

That's awesome! I wish I could ride a bike to work since I only live 2.5 miles away, but the only path there is an extremely dangerous business route highway with no sidewalk, no bike lane, no shoulder and zero room between speedy traffic and a guard rail. Plus, I'd be riding at like 10p so I'd just be increasing my chances of being hit. It kind of makes me want to petition of the city for bike lanes or something.

    I'm on a Road Bike.

I use the CycleMeter App on my iPhone to record my rides
