I am a 43 year old SAHM that has done this again and again. I am going to try like hell not to give up this time. This is my Day 1. I am looking for a few friends that are either in my same boat now (90+ lbs to lose) or are in the middle/end of that same journey that I can learn from. I keep flopping on my face and need to figure out how to succeed at this. Help!

Hello,
I'm a newbie on new direction. I'm 48 looking to lose over 100+. Sweets are my greatest tempting. Day 1, yesterday was good. I'm praying for determination and focus. I look at my body and say, " You going to change. I refuse to stay this size". I got to say that because I finally admitted I hate the way I look and feel. Stay focused...WE WIN!3 -

Hello, I wouldn't say I am at the end of my journey, since it is a never ending one, aka a life time change. I am 54, lost 118 pounds a few years ago. Since I've been logging on here for so long, I may not comment a whole lot, but my diary is open and I do a lot of ' likes' lol. Friend me if you'd like!3

I tried sending you a message but there was a "server error" apparently, so here I am. Yes, I definitely would be interested in supporting each other. I too have 90 lbs to lose & have started, restarted, lost weight & gained it back....but, this time I think I'm in for the long haul with some new found motivation in a personal trainer. I don't mind sharing her tips, so if you'd like to add me as a friend, please do. Take care & hope to hear from you soon.1

I am a 44 year old, kids all grown. Two of them are back home plus grandbaby. I work outside the home. I started my journey in February of this year. I am done 59 pounds. My SW 304, CW 245, GW 160. After I hit goal I still want to get to my ideal weight fore m size, 5'1", which is 125. They best advice I can give you is just stick with it. Log everything you put in your mouth, and get a food scale. There is no magic formula. It's simple calories in, calories out. We all struggle. I have been losing and regaining the same 5 pounds for weeks!! Just be consistent. Anyone is free to send me a request, but beware I don't bite my tongue, I say what I feel, but at the same time I am very supportive and have an open diary. Good luck!!3

Don't give up! I am 5'8 and weighed 95 kgs - obese BMI. I am now 71 kgs and still dropping weight. hoping to reach the 67kg goal by the end of this year. It's taken me 3 years so far. The trick is to try and change the way you percieve food. Stop putting it on a pedestal and giving it Priority. The rest will come naturally.2
