You are doing great! I live pretty low carb, except for natural sugars in fruit and some veggies. I feel much better when I don't fill my body full of useless carbs like white flour products, refined sugars etc. The carbs I do eat mostly come from fruit and veggies and whole grains.
Do what works for you! You are looking great!
  • WOW! Now that is what you call hard work and dedication. Keep it up and congrats on your success!

Great start and now that you got past the threshold (initial weight loss) it is time to realize it is not about those diets but about a life style change.

Sensible eating, goal setting of 1 pound a week and sticking-to-it-ness will bring lasting results.

If the mindset reminds on dieting you will gain back what you lost. But if you look to a life style change (in which myfitnesspal is all about) you will find more satisfying results with the understanding that there will be peaks and valleys but with perserverance this will be overcome.

Eat wisely, control calorie/fat intake, baby steps, exercise (cardio), exercise (weight training), rest, water consumption, and realize that you are the key.

    One other set of comments:

    1. You definitely look healthier that you started.

    2. I am sorry that no one else bothered to read beyond your success comments. You were asking for advice/assistance in losing those last 50 lbs so my previous post says it all.

Hang in there and use the site to assist. Wise choices leads to a brighter future.
