Vegan cakes which are refined-sugar free are usually very good for weight loss. Plus, they are so nutritious, that it's ok to have cake everyday. Google them -there are loads of recipes.

Also I tend to snack on rice cakes with different toppings for a snack instead of crisps/biscuits. and they can be as low as only 12 calories each.

A slice of toast with a tablespoon of peanut butter on.
Not overly high in calories if you only have a thin layer - dense in monohydrate fats to keep you feeling satiated longer and a great source of protein!

As said above though - any snack in moderation. Remember, this is a healthy lifestyle - health is body and mind. Without a few of the things you enjoy, you're putting yourself on a course to be miserable.

I don't even cut it up. I just salt each bite and chomp down.

Don't over think things. Pick up a vegetable and eat it. Or a fruit if you have some carbs left over, or a piece of cheese if you need a little fat and protein, or a protein bar if you need the protein.
