Protein always over

Hello everyone, this is my first post so please go easy on me!

I am managing to keep just below my calories each day (I like to keep a bit spare - around 50 cals for the bits I may forget) I am always under on carbs and fat but always over on protein! Does this matter?

Thanks for reading,

Lucy.

No, it doesn't matter. The protein setting is low.

Protein is good for you, no worries.

You can always customize your own goals or if you feel comfortable doing it. I have mine set to about 1 gram per pound of lean mass. I always run carb heavy because I love to eat carbs and end up supplementing to get in my protein instead of eating it out right (although I still eat a lot). Pre-logged my diary for Thursday and I think I'm only at 102 grams of protein which is still under what I have set as my goal... but if I let MFP set my goals I would be extremely over "their" setting.
