Stupid question about exercise equipment

I'm not sure how to ask this...

I was at Good Will the other day and saw exercise equipment. But I have no idea what it's called.

You stand on it. It' not an elliptical I don't think. The foot things just swing back and forth.

I know that's not a very good description, sorry!

I think it is the gazelle? Tony Little promotes those.

sounds like a unit called the gazelle. I had one but i like the elliptical better. If it hurts to runn its not a bad little machine.
    I hope that helps.

googled images of that. doesn't look like that. it's smaller. it's goes about as high as your chest. pretty basic. there's 2 foot steps and they swing up and down like a step. there's a rail infront of you and on the sides.

I am going to guess it was a Tony Little Gazelle.

There are tons of different models of it floating around new and used.

My mom has one and I do not care to it at all. I dont feel like I am getting a workout when I use it. Then again my mother has lots of problems with her legs but can still do this excerciese easily/

Its better than nothing so I guess wether or not it worth it for you is up to your situation.

Yes, except it doesn't have the hand thing at all. ... Is it worth getting it? I mean it's only $15, but I was wondering if it actually is helpful with workout?

Is it still called the gazelle if it looks like it but it was made without the arm handles?

Probably a knock-off of the gazelle. Those things are fun for about 10 minutes... but for $15, it's worth giving it a try. If you hate it, you can always re-donate it. But you might love it.
