After researching these boards for the best HRM, it sounded like the PT4 would meet my needs best. Just ordered it from Amazon - hope it comes soon!
Anyone using it? Pros/cons/things to know??
Thanks for your feedback!

Going to keep this thread in mind. I'm debating on the 4 or 7. Thought I wanted the 7, but I can drive up at get the 4 from Target. lol0

Use it every day and I LOVE IT!!!! It's just what I need0

I use it and I love it. I was trying to lose 5 lbs and it wasn't until I started tracking the calories I actually burned in addition to my calorie counting that it actually happened. I can easily see, during my work out, how hard I am working. If I'm not burning my goal calories, I know I need to step it up. Before, there was no way of knowing if a workout was a 250 calorie burner or a 450 calorie burner and I was left guessing. It's pretty easy to set up and I've used it for 3 or 4 months straight, took a break and have started back again. The battery is still good in mine, so it seems to last a while, but I also don't leave it on all the time.0

I have the FT7.... the only drawback is that I randomly want to work out just to see how many calories I can burn LOL... also makes me wanna go just a lil longer during the workout to get up to the next even numbers LOL0

Ft4 and FT7 can both be used for swimming.. both are water resistant up to 30 meters or something.
FT4:
Comes in two colors(beige and silver)
Tracks 10 workouts
Does not use Vo2Max to determine your zones
Around 60-80 dollars deepening on where you buy it from
FT7:
Comes in 4 colors(red/back, black/silver, black/gold, silver/red)
Can track up to 99 workouts
Does use Vo2Max to determine your zones, but you can't manually change it/input it.
Lets you upload data to you're computer using the optional flow link attachment.
Around 80-100 dollars depending on where you buy it from.
I personally have the FT7 and love it! I actually forgot the watch the other day at home and considered turning around to get it!0 -
I have the 7 and its great - except it tells me I burn waayyyy less calories then I *thought* I was burning So, reality is a little disappointing, but its a great product! You can compare the different ones at :
