It is Black Friday time and I'm in the market for a new HRM. I currently have Gaiam and it is my 2nd one. I absolutely loved my first one, but my second one is, ok. I don't find that it takes my heart rate as accurately. So, I'm looking for a new HRM that won't break the bank but will do what I need it to do. HRM, Calories, tell time, steps. The basics. Does not need to be a smartwatch of any kind. I would like it to sync to my phone, but not a dire need. So, give me what you have for suggestions.....

Saw a video of HRMs being lab tested. In order of most to least accurate:
1. Microsoft Pulse
2. Apple iWatch
3. FitBit
4. Garmin
Wish I still had the link to that video...0 -
I've got a Garmin Forerunner 35 as I wanted a HRM without breaking the bank as I wasn't sure I would stick to running. So far I am finding it accurate and a real motivator... wishing I'd spent a little more for the extra features of the FR235 though. I did look at the FR630 but it was pricey and I didn't want to use a chest strap.0
