My fitness up until I was 21/22 was non existant. I got up to 250 and hit my breaking point... Spent a grueling year on my own dropping over 110pnds and hitting 140..then building myself back up to 180 with lifting.
I always had this minimal extra lower stomach fat so I would push myself harder and harder to rid myself of it... Last year I tried going vegan and got down to 145 and had the abs I always wanted but I was not happy with how my face looked... I felt sickly thin so I headed back to lifting... Now I'm at 160 and looking to float around 155.
I workout extensively between weight training and elliptical, rarely eat terrible food and when I do it's in the form of popcorn or chocolate. Here to help motivate others and pick up some tips as well.

Motivational story!
I'm trying to lose some belly fat, too, Tiffany. I know that my overall weight has to drop for this to start happening since I'm about 15-20lbs above "healthy weight". I'm afraid of losing muscle though (if I have any!). I was a 3 sport athlete in high school and now I'm a lumpy and weak grad student!0
