Today I hit the 100 pounds loss mark. I still can't believe it! I remember the day the flip switched in my brain and I vowed to never see that weight on the scale again. Anyone else remember a moment like that...what was it for you?

It's an amazing feeling!! congratulations keep up the awesome progress!
What flipped the switch for me (think that is your question) was my friends comment to me "Imagine where you'd be today if you committed yourself a year ago on this day" I vowed to change my life after that day and it was May5th that kind of changed everything for me.10 -
Congrats on ur loss!! I'm currently trying to lose the last 33 lbs in my 100lb count down! I can't wait to be where you are!9

That switch flipped in my head January 1, 2000. At midnight I decided that my life-long plan of killing myself with food had failed, and that henceforth I would live like a person who wanted to live to 100.

Congratulations!
What flipped it for me was when I realized how quickly the weight hops on. I was 365 pounds and one thing I told myself that I'd never let happen was get to 400. Currently I'm at 312 pounds and really looking forward to being out of the 300's all together and never looking back.15 -
Congratulations! That's awesome. And yes, I definitely had a moment like that. Back in March of this year I was 268 lbs and I was on the verge of having diabetes and I had high blood pressure. I looked in the mirror one day and said "screw it, I'm sick of being this way and feeling this way" and I haven't looked back since.12

You know I never had a switch flip until I started really losing the weight. When I started for like the millionth time, it was just that, yet another attempt. What made it flip on, was when I realized that I was actually doing it this time. Congrats to you and excellent job!7

Congrats on the weight loss!
For me, it came down to my Dr telling me that my BP was high and I was a heart attack waiting to happen. She told me to lose 10 pounds. I took her seriously and lost (so far) 104. I am almost back to the weight I used to be. Very excited.
My new Dr (the other one went back to school) wants me to lose 8 more, so that is my new goal.
Alas, I am still on BP meds, though.5 -
A blood pressure reading of 222/1xx flipped my switch.
Congratulations on the milestone.4 -
Congrats doll, you're an amazing example for everybody else. Sending lots of love!1

A well deserved congratulations to you! I remember when I lost my first ten pound I was ecstatic and figured that would probably be it; then I lost another 10 and though well, should I try for another 10? And I did, and I made it, and now I've lost another 10 and I still feel like I did when I lost the first 10 pounds!
But it is a great feeling and to have lost a 100 lbs must be a tremendous feeling, so good for you! I bow down to you!2 -
I.ve lost my first 4 on the 95lbs journey. Still feels like a loooong way to go.
My switch was flipped when I realised the extra weight Im carrying around amounts to the weight of my very tall 9y old who I cant lift anymore. I.e. the extra 95lbs on my body is like carrying my child around every day for 24hrs!7 -
That is SO awesome!! Congratulations!! You should be so, SO proud of yourself! I'm almost to the 100 lb loss mark myself!! I have about 40 more to go. It's such an awesome journey, isn't it?! Wishing you all the best!! So excited for you!! (:3
