I think the adrenaline you have in a life or death situation makes it plausible.

it probably depends on the car

I dunno. I had trouble lifting a 23lb turkey out of the grocery cart the other day.

maybe if it was on fire you could have lifted with your pinky finger.. Hysterical strength indeed.

maybe the rear of the car, and just enough to take pressure off so the baby could be pulled out. The rear is much lighter than the front (due to the engine) of a car.

Where do you come up with these

I'm trying to figure out why a baby would be pinned under the first place

You should probably depend on paramedics to do a better job than you could .. for me anyway

Was a baby pinned under it?

Close. The Hawaiian rolls were in serious jeopardy.

close enough to trigger some wicked strength....

I could have tossed the shopping cart across the entire parking lot, like a shot put, if a bag of Doritos had been in peril.

Red bag? Absolutely. Blue bag? Meh, my attempt would be half-hearted
    Purple bag...mmmmm, BBQ Doritos ;-)

Does anyone remember back in the 90s there was a black bag called Jumpin Jack Doritos? They were monterrey jack flavored. I hate how they bring out these new flavors just to tease us then they rip them away again. :bawling:

Nope. I think adrenaline would make a bit of a difference, but not enough to lift a car.

I think so. I lifted my mom in a wheelchair up two steps to get her in her house when she broke her leg. If it's got to be done you do it then regret it after the adrenaline has worn off
