Oh no! Cookies!

Okay so one of our clients brought in a bunch of homemade ginger cookies (my favorite). They are sitting by the coffee machine taunting me right now. Oh no...

I am going to be swimming laps for an hour tonight, BUT I don't want to swim laps just for cookies!

Oh cookies, why must you taunt me like so? :sad:

    How many calories do you think are in each?

    Can you have 2? Just 2? Small bites, savoring each little bit?

    Denying your favorite foods is no good. You've gotta learn to allow just a little.... unless you can't do that. Some people cannot have just a little...

    (I'd have 2 cookies myself. Unless they are large. Then one large one. :wink: )

    you can use my theory: whoever made those cookies went to the bathroom right before they made them and didnt wash their hands! and they have nasty crud under their nails and had to handle all the dough! ewwweee!

    cookies are my hard spot. i love them so much. but grossing myself out helps me avoid them.

    you are right! you dont want to swim laps just for cookies - you want to swim laps with out them because your workout will have a better impact, right???

    even if you do give in, just make sure to log them and swim your heart out. :flowerforyou:
  • Prob doesn't help much since you don't know the recipe the person used...but ginger cookies are one of the best for you!

    I'd eat them. But only 1 or 2. Life just isn't worth living if I can never have cookies. :laugh:

    Ok... I caved. Ate 2! They were the most delicious 5 minutes of my entire year :D
