HI everyone, I'm new and glad my sister-in-law told me about this. I have tried dieting in the past and would lose and then gain it back. I topped out at 183 (3 years ago) and size 12, I lost 35lbs and gained 25-30 back and held onto it (size 12 now). I will get motivated for a few days, do really well and then have a bad day and binge and instead of chalking the binge up to a mistake I jump off the wagon. So with that said, I am welcoming friends, I need the encouragement and love encouraging others.
God bless ya,
Cathy

Feel free to add me. My theory is it's okay to fall off the wagon from time to time as long as you hold onto the bumper and get back in! Let's do this!0

Welcome and congratulations on taking this step. This isn't a diet, but a lifestyle change. You will become aware of how much you are consuming and will start to make better choices. My advice would be to just make a goal this first week of just logging everything you eat or drink and not worry so much about the calories. Just get in the habit of logging your food and the changes will gradually come. This isn't a temporary fix but a new way of looking at what you eat. You can do this! God gave us these bodies to use for good so let's take care of them! :flowerforyou:0
