Is anyone a member of Anytime Fitness?
If so can you tell me about how much monthly dues are?
Do they have a family plan/or discount for more than one family member joining?
Do you know if kids (my daughter is 14) can join?
Can you go to any of their centers if I move or travel?

I am a memebr of Anytime Fitness. I think I pay like 34 a month. You can add family members, I think up to 3. I think that the majority of the prices depend on the location and how long of a contract you sign. You can go to the other centers if you travel or move. Your best bet is to call the one that you are thinking about joining. They will be able to give you all the information specific to that location.0

I used to work at Anytime Fitness. Each gym is individually owned, so prices can vary for each gym as well as family plans. Depending on the owner, will depend on if your 14 yr old can join. I'd assume she would be allowed as long as she comes with an adult.
You are able to use any of the Anytime Fitnesses around the US as a member...just take your key with you when you travel and be prepared to show ID.
As was said before, your best bet is to call your local Anytime Fitness and ask them.0 -
I belong to Snap Fitness (24/7 access). You can go to snapfitness.com and see if there is one in your area. (Most are franchises, not company owned).
It is $40/mo for one family member, $50 for two, and $60 for 3 or more. And teens are welcome (and frequently come) to the location I use (there is some age limit on them coming alone but I dont know what it is).
Before I joined they let me have a week's "free trial". (During that time I had to go during regular business hours, but it was a great way to get a feel for whether I would go or not). If the gym you are looking into doesnt advertise a free trial, ask for one anyway, they will probably accomodate you. (I was just looking at Snap's website to see if they are still offering the free week, and I find now that they are offering a trial of "one month for $8.95").
I'm not advocating Snap over Anytime, just giving you information to use in making a decision. Snap is my only choice unless I want to drive 30 miles.0 -
Thanks for the replies. Currently, where I'm at my cell phone gets horrible reception or else I would call. I hate walking into fitness centers, I always feel like I'm being attacked by sharks, if you KWIM.
I emailed the local Anytime, so I'm hoping to hear back from them soon. I was just getting impatient and thought I'd ask here.
My husband's job keeps us on the road, so I would definitely need a place that I can be able to use all around.
We are in a small town and Anytime Fitness is the only place here other than Curves. I was a member at Curves for years, but am looking for a different option now. Funny, because our home town has a Snap and not an Anytime. There's an Anytime close enough though.
Thanks again for your help.0
