I don't have it, but my friend (whom I just had dinner with last night) has it. It seems very difficult. I wish you luck!

I'm wheat intolerant. so I eat mostly gf, but cheat as long as its not wheat. (i throw up, bloat, and itch.) but I cannot imagion how hard being celiac is. there are many online sites for celiac/gf ppl. lots of recipes. google it. like glutenfreegoddess.com is one, gluten free mom, gluten free girl, many many recipe sites. teach you how to use alternitive flours and methods to mimic gluten.

    best of luck.

lots of digestive enzymes, lots of reading labels (even seasonings have wheat!) and lots of substituting (rice flour for wheat flour).

It's not as hard as one would think .... you'd be surprised!! There are TONS of gluten-free options now!

Add me if you'd like. I'm gluten/gliaden/wheat intolerant.

there is a thread if you search for it. I'm celiac, too. feel free to friend me!

I stopped eating gluten a year ago, and just a few weeks ago I was on celiac.com starting a thread about how glad I was that I was celiac. It sounds like madness but it has helped me in my quest to be healthy because I can't eat the foods that cause other people to give in, if I eat it its not guilt that I feel...it's more like...eating glass dipped in arsenic...for a week, awesome.

Feel free to friend me, I don't eat soy either and am in a losing battle with my brain about dairy...for some reason I totally could stop eating gluten in a day but cheese is just...killing me, I can't stop.

One thing to know, a lot of Celiac's learn they've got other intolerances as time goes on (I learned about dairy and soy in the past month), the gluten we've been eating all our lives destroyed our GI tract...so be ready for that.
