I tried it and had bad results. I ended up constipated, no joke, for a few years. I can't say it was all form the low carb diet, but I heard it is way easy to become constipated while on it.0

This is me as well. I can't even eat oatmeal for breakfast without it sending my blood sugar levels sky high, then crashing several hours later with me craving and starving for anything and everything. Eating high glycemic carbs do not work for me. I find that I lose weight when I monitor my processed carb in-take. This works for me. Everybody's body is different. I agree.0

I am a vegan. I eat lots of carbs, the healthy kind..oat bran, fruits, veggies, beans, and grains. I am able to maintain a low weight because I don't eat more than my body needs and I work out on a daily basis. Before I became a vegan, I was a vegetarian for many years, only consuming eggs and occassionally fish. I tried the low carb diet and felt miserable. Lacked energy, was always bloated, dizzy, light headed, etc. After more research, it has become more aparant how unhealthy a low carb diet is. Usually body builders try to push this diet, or people who are wanting to lose weight quickly. It's highly unhealthy and difficult to maintain for a long period of time.

Considering humans have been eating 'low-carb' for thousands of years, I fail to see how it would be unhealthy.0 -
Carbs are very good us! I'd say try a Smart-Carb Lifestyle
Try to stay away from white sugar, flour, rice, potatoes
But eat healthy carbs like quinoa, millet, buckwheat, whole grains...
They're really healthy and super tasty and you'll be giving your body abundance in a healthy way0 -
A big YAY for low carbs. I lost 4 kgs in 2 weeks! I feel less sluggish. At leat give it a try for 1 week.0

I don't follow any particulat low carb diet...but I don't eat bread, pasta or high carb tortillas...nor do I drink any regular soda...that being said when I follow a low carb diet I do lose weight and feel much better both physically and mentally...0
