Hi im new here. Ive been a couch potato for most of my life. Had a reality check a few months back and did a total make over of my eating habits for a month now. Its been a very rough road with lots of bumps. Still finding my way to stay fit and eat healthy. Im looking for ways to get thru this rough patch of my journey to healthy living.

Keep up the good work! There are tons of advice here, but ultimately having a caloric deficit is what most people agree works.

Its really no so difficult when you commit to making this a lifestyle change. Once you get in the groove just a slight deficit will produce weight loss and over time it adds up. When you combine that with healthy foods and fitness it gets even better. I just had my bloodwork done and everything was green (good zone) except one thing, my good cholesterol was high. My goal is to stay off any medication as long as I can and enjoy life to the fullest. A great way to start into fitness is walking. Start slow and build gradually. Good luck!0
