I've used My Fitness Pal before but I've never chimed into the board. I notice my off season extra five pounds have already settled on. I feel them on my run- thought I'd better keep better track of my calorie consumption.

Wow that's amazing! Always wanted to try an iron man. Have done several sprint and Olympic triathlons a few years ago. Would love to do another one in 20170

It's time for me to give it a whirl. I've done six years of about six triathlon a year ranging from spints, Olympic distance and half-Ironman. I encourage you to keep up the sport-0

I'm pretty sure the 5lb will soon drop. In the off season you can't live like a saint. Best of luck with the ironman0

i found while training for my ironman that while i never really lost weight, my body basically did a recomp (I went from a size 10 to a size 6, but only lost about 3lbs in 2014)
for me - nutrition during training always kicks my *kitten*0
