Protein Powders

My doctor wants me to get 100g of protein daily, fairly evenly split at each meal. He is fine with supplements to help achieve that. My toughest meal is breakfast. I hate it. I'm not hungry in the morning, and I just don't have time to deal with it, so I've been using a protein shake. I've also been experimenting with smoothies using greek yogurt, but can't seem to find a good vanilla protein powder to add. They either taste bad or like chalk. Does anyone have any recommendations, or other fast/easy ideas for breakfast?

If you don't want to eat first thing in the morning, don't. If you want to, eat your last meal of the day earlier or let the last meal be smaller.
100 grams is plenty for a woman, but it shouldn't be impossible unless you have a vey low calorie goal. There's protein in a lot of foods, if you prefer food - dairy, meat, fish, eggs, beans, nuts, grains and vegetables. There are no rules of what constitutes breakfast, it's just the first meal after you wake up. Make something you like.3 -
Sounds gross, but is actually really good: Put cottage cheese in the blender with some Nutella (as much as you like, I usually use a couple tablespoons) blend till smooth and eat! Tastes like cheesecake- so yummy- and depending on serving size can be around 20 G protein. I mix a big batch and then it's quick to grab through the week. You can also search the internet for hi protein breakfasts, lots of options2

OP, there is a cheesecake recipe in this link that uses your protein powder.. I promise it does not disappoint..
you might like to try it.. I also cook with my protein powder to make other things like pancakes, waffles, muffins, donuts, cookies etc... just a thought.

I mixed 100g plain total greek yogurt (full fat) with a squeeze of organic lemon juice, 15g raspberries and half a scoop of (organic daisy) plain whey protein for breakfast, it was nice although I'm not really into breakfast myself, lol.
Nutrition total = 151 cal, 10g carbs (sugars 8g), 8g fat, 17g protein, 62mg sodium.1 -
I can't have whey but I use a plant based brand called sun warrior. The warrior blend vanilla and also the chocolate flavor are great and I mix them with just water majority of the times and it's never chalky. Quite delicious actually . I have also tossed the chocolate one in with my coffee and that was pretty amazing too .1

I've never tried a protein powder from Optimum Nutrition that didn't taste good!

I use "vital protein" , its a pea protein isolate which can be chalky but is fine if I pre mix with water and soak it overnight0

Isopure whey isolate, unflavored. It blends well with most anything, can be baked with, and you don't even notice it's presence. It does make a good coffee creamer, too!1
