Low carb snacks??!!
Hi! I've been on the low carb bandwagon on and off and am looking for tasty variations. I'm tired of cheese sticks and sausage patties when I'm hungy between meals. What are your go to snacks and or meals? And I'm trying to avoid things like microwaved pepperoni pieces

Almonds and raisins. Sometimes I mix in some peanut butter or almond butter with my almonds and raisins. Just to give it a little bit extra and maybe some dark chocolate chips and/or coconut. I scoop them into tablespoon servings and put it on parchment paper and put it in the freezer. Makes a nice little sweet snack. And if I really am looking for something sweet, I may have yogurt covered raisins with my almonds instead of just regular raisins.7

My current go to is an apple cut into fours with some peanut butter (no more than 2 tbsp) ... i dont know if thats low enough carb for you... i also found these new bars by Atkins- harvest bars.. they are amazing! Its fruit and nut and dark chocolate 6 net carbs and 150 calories 8 protein.. not bad for a snack if the calories dont scare you.. hits the spot2

Apples and raisins aren't low carb. Quite high carb in fact. Things I snack on (been eating low carb for 4 years):
Normandie pate pods (50g tubs of pate)
Philadelphia cream cheese tubs (40g)
Maxine's Burn bars (not often but okay for something sweet)
90% dark chocolate (one or two squares is enough, dip it in the peanut butter if you feel like going all out)
Camembert cheese (or Brei)
Black olives and pickles (dill pickles - check the label for sugar)
Boiled eggs
Smoked oysters
Little tins of tuna, salmon, chicken (check the carbs on the tin, some of the sauces are quite high
Celery filled with cream cheese, or peanut butter, or both (cream cheese with an anchovy on top is awesome)
Salami rolled up with cream cheese inside

During my keto phases I tend to use full fat Greek Yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and bacon jerky. On the jerky though, the only reliably low-carb brand was Jack Link's Small Batch. Everyone else seems to want to add a bunch of damned sugar to it.1

Walnuts with organic honey sprinkled over the top. Takes the craving off0

Beef Jerry, cheese sticks, lunch meat, sugar free jello, tuna packets, Atkins bars0

Quest bars and banana1

Pepperoni and cheese is tasty and filling, and for sweets I will have no sugar jello cups0

frozen cool whip if you're craving something sweet!!3

beef/deer jerky, tuna pouch, HB egg, 1 oz of really sharp cheddar, pork rinds, olives, 1/2 an avocado w/sea salt, Brazil nuts0

In addition to apples and raisins, take bananas off the list too. Generally, you should know that fruits are high carb. The exception might be tomatoes, if you consider it a fruit. I'm aware some may call it a fruit based on how it grows, but nutritionally speaking, I consider it a low-carb vegetable (unlike high carb vegetables - potatoes, grains, peas, for example).
The suggestions I have for snacks, which I assume require little or no prep, are fairly limited because they have been mentioned or you excluded them in your OP. So I suggest pork rinds or dill pickles.2 -

If you're not doing low fat, my favorite snack/quick food of the moment is chunks of boneless chicken breast or thigh wrapped in a small piece of bacon (1/3 strip) and grilled on skewers. I bulk prep & cook these and toss them in the fridge. I can eat them cold or pop in the microwave to warm. You can season the chicken however you like.0

pork rinds, pecans, also i have made the following. http://www.yummyhealthyeasy.com/2015/01/avocado-truffle-chocolates-recipe.html#_a5y_p=3257226 they are low carb but bitter because its 100% cacao. They also have fiber and good fats. I make them occasionally and i love them0

I like making chicken salad... which is rotisserie chicken, mayo, little onion or green onion and celery and sometimes some mustard... really good to eat with avocado... or on romaine...
Also, jalepeno poppers... not the battered ones... but cut a jalepeno in half fill with cream cheese and wrap with bacon... cook in oven or on bbq... YUM!
Also BLT's with avocado on romaine instead of bread.2 -
Sliced turkey rolled up around a little stick of cream cheese. Yummm1

I do this with 0% fat plain Greek yogurt (replace 1 cup of water with 1 cup of yogurt which is 1-2 servings, depending on brand.)0 -
Homemade guacamole with pork rinds (find low carb version online), deviled eggs or egg salad made with dill pickle relish, mayo, diced celery & cucumber and if like it sweetened add Swerve to taste, mozzarella sticks cut in half, dipped in beaten egg, rolled in a mix of parmesan/almond flour/Italian seasoning/salt and fried, zucchini pizza crust is good just cut into pieces to snack on. There's so many good recipes out there...just google what you are hungry for in low carb...but do check the carb g...I think it depends on whether you are doing keto or just low carb at this point. If you want the benefits of keto it's 20 g a day I believe and if you are doing low carb you can go higher according to your plans.0
