I weigh 0.8 lb less this morning than I did last week, so that's progress in the right direction.

I don't like sweets, I would rather eat salty stuff, but I cut all extra salt out of my food. I dont add any. First two weeks I dropped 10lb of water, then my body settled out and have kept 7 lbs off.

Down 3 Lbs. Usually I put on about 8-10 Lbs over the winter, but I already did that while I was nursing an injury from mid July to about mid November so I'm cutting.

My biggest problem this time of year isn't the "treats"...Christmas cookies and whatnot do exactly zero for me. I generally put on weight during the winter because my activity level goes down both in regards to general activity and exercise and I don't compensate with diet.

This year I bought an indoor trainer for my bike so I don't have a lot of excuses there this winter. General activity is down though so I'll have to watch my diet a little closer.

Lowest I've been in 2 years. 126.8 this morning. But going on vacation the day after Christmas. This may be a challenge. Lol

Fantastic progress. Do you have strategies for your vacation? Like the see food diet?

Honestly I'm scared to death over it. I don't want to spoil my progress but I also don't want to spoil my vacation by worrying about every crumb that passes my lips. I think I have resigned myself to eat and indulge reasonably, I know what to do when I get home.

See food diet is is! You see food then eat it! :D

I've been bad lately and enjoying myself. Sometimes I need a break from caring about diet and fitness. :) And it's not like I'm a lazy slob I'm just enjoying food. :)

Actually, I gained all my weight back in Sept/Aug with some personal stuff. Been sitting around 203/204 since. So not bad considering I have ate without much thought.

My birthday is December 21. I was born, and the days started getting longer.

Beth and I have a tradition, we rent a cabin in Winthrop every year. Usually for about a week. And ski. We've been renting skis, but she's getting me a pair for my birthday this year.

Every time I go to Winthrop, I lose almost a pound a day. I'm too busy having fun to eat.

I just began going thru premature menopause in April & even though I still get all of my symptoms, on time; the date of menstruating's late & the days of duration're less. So I have no idea, what I actually weigh because there's no reliable trend. I'll lose 7 pounds 1 week, gain 3 the next, lose 5 after, then gain 6, etc. & yet I only aim to lose, 1.5 pounds weekly! So until I lose 10 pounds, I don't consider any of my losses; as successes. It's frustrating & while I haven't ceased trying to lose weight indefinitely, I have had moments when I did quit; for a day or 2. So of course that, has impacted my weight accuracy; as well!

I'm sucking terribly at life, especially at fitness. I need another drink. :#
