Today's challenge is: One Legged Calf Raises
Let's see if we can do 100 on each leg for a total of 200.
You can do them any style you want and you have until midnight to get them done.
If you can't do 100 each then do what you can.
The important thing is that you try to do it.
Make sure you stretch and have fun doing them.
Report back when you are done and let us know how you did.
Mini mini challenge: See if you can turn any of these into jumps but landing on your toes and holding it for a few seconds (This may be tough for those of us doing our raises using s platform). I you use a platform that is not totally stable don't hurt yourself doing this mini mini!!

Hahahaha the jumps are a great challenge! The first few I lost my ballance and what felt like the whole gym stopped and turned round to watch me! I managed one without falling over though...I'm making it my NSV of the day! Thank you0
-
I'm in, and doing the jumps!0
-
I'm in! But No way am I doing the jumps.....390 pounds crashing down on just the toes of 1 foot.....yeah I'm guessing that would be as painful as it sounds!0
-
I'm in w/o the jumps though...I'm not up to that pt just yet0

I am in0

after ignoring yesterday's challenge because of a bad wrist, I am in today. I have never done calf raises with a jump, but I am willing to try. I am so in.0

Thanks for posting as I could not recall what a calf raise was.0 -

I'm in - I love calf raises!0
-
I am in. What do you log this as?0

After watching the video & talking to my bf I forgot they were suppose to be 200 one legged. So I did 3 sets of 34 alternating the direction of my feet each set. After I reread the challenge I did 100 one legged calf raises(50 each leg).0

What is the difference between a one-legged calf raise with a jump and hopping on one foot?0
-
Count me in without the jumps. I have plantar fasciitis and I don't think my doctor would approve lol.0
-
I have finished for now. I did sets of 20 on each leg: One the stairs to elevate, jumping (hopping), double raise and drop, elevated knee, and prosaic calf raises. I will continue to do them throughout the night at work. It will help keep me awake.0
-
I'm in, without the jumps. I'll report back later0

4 sets of 25 for each leg throughout the day. Nice way to fill spare minutes and burn a little extra!0

Got er dun!!
Great job yall. To be honest with yall I didn't try to jump as I was just happy to get them done. I've had a couple of events in my life the last couple days that have really had my attention so I haven't been as focused as I should be.0
