I log it every day also, just so I can have a complete record of food, weight, exercise and water. I also have an 'official' day... just to make sure I am meeting my goals.

same here, try not to weight every day but its so hard, so i try to only log my weight once or maybe twice a week. i just like to see how im doing on a day to day basis and try to keep in mind that fluctuations do occur both good and bad and so not to take the daily weights too much to heart either way.

good luck, just do whatever works for you :-) x

I was weighing everyday but it fluctuates too much. So I have started doing it Sunday mornings but I think I will only do every two weeks now. It will be hard not to jump on but I need to try and not do it so often.
  • I weigh every morning as I have a digitial scale. I think I am more movitvated by it as it is extremely accurate and you can't cheat the numbers. As I even see tenths of a lb. go down, I am making progress. And, by watching, you can tell on days that you have eaten too much salt (you will see water retention) gain and so it helps you to pay attention to what you are putting in your mouth. The same if you drink alcohol or eat a lot of floured or starchy items. I have even noticed when I drink diet cola instead of water. It's amazing !!!

I also weigh every day to keep tabs and only log a loss when I see a full pound loss for two days in a row. I figure if I give it more than one day, that rules out water weight fluctuations, etc.

I've weighed myself daily for most of my life...the only exception was right before I started this whole weight loss journey late 2009. I was so deeply in denial, I couldn't even face the number on the scale. So, now I make sure I weigh every day to at least get an idea of where I am. I don't ever want to lose track of that again!

I weigh in at Weight Watchers once a week, but I think that's not working. I think I have all week to make up the loss, so I don't do as well all week, except for a couple of days before weigh in. So, I'm going to try to weigh in daily, even though I will fluctuate, but at least that will keep me thinking about wise choices all day long. I plan to do my "official" log in on here.

While I check my weight every few days, I "officially" weigh in every Friday morning. Mainly b/c weekends tend to be busy and I don't have a lot of discipline to stay on track. Seeing my progress from the week Friday morning is motivation to behave on the weekends and not erase everything I did.

I log it once a week but i do take a sneeky peak sometimes, its best not to take the ones inbetween to seriously as weaight fluctuates so much :-)
