does anyone else on this website play this game?? (i feel like i will be getting hardly any feedback on this one since it's not too popular)

anywayss! i play disc golf every day and when i don't play it i walk the course with my boyfriend. my problem is that i have no idea how to log it. because some sites say that you burn around 900 calories in two hours playing. other sites say 220 calories per hours. and its hard to log it because good ole MFP does not have it. so i have tried recording it as hiking (because there is a lot of incline and declines) but i feel that i didn't burn that many calories. then i have tried 3.5 walking uphill, but i feel like that is too much too. does anyone else have this problem?? i have the same issue with zumba too :P

naturally my main form of exercises are not on this site :/

I play disc golf. I would log it as hiking for sure. If you take a lot of breaks just subtract that time from your total workout time.

    it is so fun!

yeah, it doesn't feel like you are burning that many calories. but walking up hills lots and lots has to be doing something for your body. its a great sport. just difficult to figure out.

haha too bad you didn't live around here, i could totally use a girl to play the game with!
  • I played yesterday and thought it was great. Didn't feel like a big caloric burn but it took us about 2 hours to play the whole course, so it couldn't have been too bad!
