So my wife bought me some pants last year cause I needed new pants. I didn't go with her and they were too tight. Couldn't get them buttoned. Well last month I tried them on and they fit perfect! Yay I have new pants without spending any money.

Well I have only lost another 2 lbs since then and yesterday I put them on and they are way to big now. Kept sliding down. I can get my fist in the waistband. I guess I have been losing inches instead of pounds.

Now I have 2 pair of pants only worn a couple times that will go in the so long fatty pile.

Good for you! I have taken to visiting thrift stores during my weight loss. At two to three dollars a pair, I also pick up one pair that is one size down for incentive. I also take (donate) my clothes that no longer fit to the same place. Way to go! Keep it up!
  • What a great feeling isn't it. Clothes that don't fit because they are too big! WOW!!! Good job!

That's AWESOME! I'm going through the same thing myself. I had a whole stash of "skinny clothes" that I refused to part with once I outgrew them. Now they are even too big! Isn't it an awesome feeling? Keep up the great work!

I've pretty much taken in all of my pants - just folded over the waistband and stiched it up. I'm too cheap to buy new pants so going with the baggy look until they absolutely fall off of me. I like the idea of going to the thrift store - I can afford a few bucks if the pants fit. My problem is finding an appropriate outfit for a wedding in two weeks. Yikes.
  • Congrats!!! I only shop at thrift stores or cheaper clothing outlets because of that! I dont want to spend too much money if I can only wear the pants for a week or two!

Maybe you can get them taken in! Sometimes that's cheaper than buying new ones :)
  • Awesome and must i say, It's a really good feeling =) I just recently was forced to buy a pair of pants for an event outing. Wore them 1 evening the next week I put them on saggy on the legs . O'well money down the drain but lighter in weight, i guess it evens it self out.. =) Congrats again !

Actually it is time. The belt I have has been too big longer than the pants have.

Lol great NSV! suggest you get some new ones that fit before you fly.....

My hubby had lost a lot of weight and had to take his belt off his suit trousers to go through the security arch at the airport. He set the bleeper off and then lost his trousers went he put his arms up for the search! Very embarrassed!
  • Love it!
I had the same last week. Decided that as I'd lost a stone quickly, and most/all of my jeans were either too big or away to the charity shops, I would treat myself to new ones. I spent £15 on a pair of stunning jeans, that I'd never have worn a couple of stone ago, and was well chuffed that they were a UK 16. That was Wednesday. I put them on on Sunday, and they were inches too big :-o I was GUTTED and pleased all at the same time lol
