I have been doing Fitness Pal five days. I am going to a dinner party tonight. It will be impossible to stay within my calories today. I will eat portions as small as possible, but I don't want to call attention to myself by refusing food. I will refuse dessert because I won't be the only one doing that. I ate 255 calories for breakfast. I plan to have 215 for lunch. I hope I can stay close to my goal. I have a really hard time with social events, and I have one almost every day until January 2.

Load up on veggies/salad first. ..Your daily cal intake might be to low if youre sitting at 470 calories and worried about going over in 1 meal. Either that or the meal must be really calorie dense lmoa0
