100 days ago (tomorrow) I joined MFP at the urging of my BFF.
I've never stuck to anything weight-loss-wise for 100 days. I haven't met my goal, but see how much I've grown in these past days as an accomplishment of a goal I never knew I had!!
In the past 100 days I've:
Walked miles at a time in a new city (without needing to stop)
Lost weight even while on vacation
Met one of my all time most favoritest people wearing a thin top that I never would have worn (wooooooo, Jordan!!!!)
Started and am 2/3 through Jillian Michael's 30DS
Started and am on Week 9 of C25K
Completed a 5K
Signed up for a 8K
Stopped stretching out my clothes so that they look good
Started a thread and met some totally motivating people (gooooo shredders!!!)
Had my grandpa go into the hospital and did NOT binge eat over it
Only talked myself out of exercising twice
Broke out of a plateau
Had great days
Had horrible days
Wanted to give up
Didn't give up
Wore a dress to work
Had a very happy doctor at my checkup
Began to like running outside
Took a yogalities class
Signed up for a 3Xs a week boot camp to start at 6am in August
And the list goes on and on and on!!!
I am happier, I am healthier and I am so very grateful for what MFP has given me.

"Stopped stretching out my clothes so that they look good "
Oh My!
My wife makes(made) fun of me all the time for doing that to my shirts.
1. step into the bottom of the shirt.
2. extend knees to the outside.
3. repeate step 2 until shirt is at it's limit
4. wear shirt baggy so that it doesn't touch your skin0 -
Congrats on all your successes! You look great!0

That post almost made me cry! That is quite a list of accomplishments.
I have battled my weight my WHOLE life so I speak from the heart - be PROUD of that list. Those are some of the hardest things that you will ever overcome. Losing weight and being healthy is hard. I have skinny friends and not so skinny friends and we are all in agreement - no matter what size you are, it is a daily fight. But Mo - this is a fight that you are winning.
I have said it before, and I say it again - for someone that I have only known for a short time, and only through message board conversations, you have made an impact on me. You inspire, motivate, and make people smile!
Keep up the great work and congratualtions on your successes!0 -
