Burned 1,500 step calories since wake up??

I woke up 6.30 am and found my burned calories from steps is 1,500 calories but I have not walked at all, I was sleeping.How to fix this? Please help.

    Oh, one of those days. I have no idea how to fix it, but I get that from my Garmin tracker every few months. I just laugh it off, and mentally subtract the crazy number. If it happens again tomorrow you may have a problem with your device, your device's website, or MFP. I'm not sure why it happens, but it has always been temporary in my case.

    General MFP response; " you should eat back all your exercise calories".

    Just ignore them.

    Just to be clear, you woke up and your tracker says you burned 1500 calories? I would say it's your BMR, but I don't know your weight.

    Is this from like a fitbit or something? It does assume you're still alive and still burning calories at all times. It doesn't just track calories from steps. Now if you're using just a step tracker device like a pedometer or a phone app then I don't know - maybe you could provide a little more information....

    I burn about 800 calories sleeping but my guess is some setting is off on your tracker..

    Sleep walking was freaking Hilarious answer
