Just starting out! Hoping to lose weight and gain strength and maybe some new friends with similar goals. At 52 years old and about 50 lbs overweight it is a bit intimidating, but I'm here and trying to reach my goals of a better me! Reach out if you can provide some support and inspiration, guidance definitely accepted.

    I am 58 and returning to MFP. I have about 75 pounds to lose. I recently read a book I found on Amazon called "Over 50, Overweight, and Out of Breath" by Laura Sinclair. I found it extremely motivating. Good luck to you :)

    Lost 100# at 50 with just diet and exercise, so it can be done at any age.
