Hey everyone! (:
I'm wanting to make more on the go smoothies, shakes, and other " breakfast" juices & blended options. My friends got us a little blender you can take with you after use. I don't have any recipes to go off of, so any recipes for this kind of thing would be great! ;) Especially if it's also sweet. Also, are there any extra ingredients besides protien powder I can throw in for growing muscle??

Nothing better than a good juice to start the day or even as a filler between meals, anything that is high in Protein like spinich is perfect, although you need to blend in some sweetness to counter act the blandness of spinich. i find apple's, carrott, beetroot and a little bit of ginger work well together

A couple of my go-to protein shakes (on the rare occasion I drink them). Amounts are to your own liking and goals:

    milk
    banana
    peanut butter
    protein powder

    banana
    frozen berries

Here's my go-to green smoothie recipe. I change up the leafy greens week-to-week (usually kale, spinach, swiss chard collards or romaine, sometimes supplemented w/ bok-choy, dandelion greens, etc). It makes ~1.25 liters, so you might have to adjust the quantities to fit your blender. As a a general rule of thumb, I usually strive for a 3:2 ratio of veg to fruit.

    1.75 cup, Water
0.50 cup, Orange juice - Raw
    2 tbsp, Chia Seed
    150 g, Leafy greens
    100 g, Cucumbers
0.27 cup, Frozen Dark Sweet Cherries
0.38 Cup, Organic Mixed Berry Blend
    40 g, Arugula, raw
60 g (1 slice), Sliced Fresh Del Monte Gold Pineapple Spears
    7.00 g, Ginger root - Raw
    125.00 g, Celery, raw
    120 g (14 Pieces), Mango Chunks (Frozen)

I'm definitely going to try it with some berries and banana! Looks simple enough!

I love how it cuts my comment. Anyway, I like how you add chia seeds! I'm going to add either that or hemp seeds into my smoothies.
