couple days tops and there is nothing wrong with scrambled eggs potatoes and pancakes or really any food. probably just bloating from the drinks. no biggie.3

One day of overeating will not destroy all of your progress. Just get back on track the next day. You'll be fine.5

You may just be hanging onto some water weight from the sodium. No biggie. It will let go in the next few days. I agree that one day over will not kill your progress. Perhaps you should consider moderating of all food so that when you do have special celebratory dates, your body won't feel awful for days just because you decide to indulge. Weight loss is all about the calorie deficit and not about the food that you eat/don't eat.couple days tops and there is nothing wrong with scrambled eggs potatoes and pancakes or really any food. probably just bloating from the drinks. no biggie.
This. There are no bad foods when it comes to weight loss.3 -

Your profile pic though is just..too cute and painfully relatable
And to the OP, it's mostly from sodium and water weight, drink lots of water and you'll be back to normal in a week tops2 -
Stop beating yourself about the head for being a normal human being. You do not need to be a saint to lose weight, and self-imposed suffering does not burn calories. If you want to do penance, go to confession.
All that's needed to lose weight is to eat a bit less and/or move a bit more over time. If you eat less than you burn on average, you will gradually lose weight. The odd day of celebration can't "ruin it". You only have an anniversary once a year, for goodness' sake . What's the plan? To never have a party or a special meal or a cocktail again in your entire life, ever ever? That's not going to work, is it?
My advice is to back off on the food rules. Any diet which can be described by the word "strict" is not likely to be sustainable, IMO. By all means, eat your protein and your veggies and choose the carbs you think work best for you, but stop expecting yourself to stick to the same restrictive rules perfectly every single day and beating yourself up if you don't. Allow some treats, build in flexibility, plan for special occasions and cut yourself some slack. Expect that you will eat more than you mean to sometimes, and that's OK. Persistence beats perfection every time.14 -

Just get back on track. You will feel better in a day or two. Don't beat yourself up over celebrating with food for your anniversary. This is life and you've got to live it. The best thing you can do is enjoy the food and then get back on healthy eating the next day. You've got a lifetime of things like this ahead of you so try to learn to take it in stride and concentrate on getting back on track each time.2

Advice: Remember the way you feel to help remind yourself; "this is the reason I don't eat/drink this way anymore."
This way, if you are tempted to eat/drink this way again, your mind makes the connection to feeling gross.
