I am on my 3rd day of IF and I am looking for any or all support. I am trying to lose 80 or more pounds. This was suggested to me by my physician but not much else. I feel good and I am not as hungry as I thought I would be. Is anyone having success? If so how quickly and is there any meal plans to incorporate while restricting to 1200 daily? Thanks!

If you have 80 pounds to lose, you can most likely lose weight on more than 1200 calories. The most important thing is that you eat less than you burn, and do it consistently. An appropriate calorie goal and a meal timing that suits you, will make it easier to stick to eating less. But you still have to eat less. You don't need any meal plans, but if you want one, you can and should make it yourself, it's not difficult. (Anyone who claims it's difficult, is just after your money.)

I'm in the same situation as you! Huge fan of intermittent fasting and have 70 pounds to lose on a 1200cal/day (which I know won't be enough for how I weight) I don't go crazy if I go above that just as long as I'm filled with healthy food. I've read the obesity code, the science behind IF and how it benefits the body. I'm doing 16:8. Feel free to add me, I would love the share with you since we have such a similar goal
