Just curious...

How long did it take you to start noticing a difference in yourself when you looked in the mirror? Or if you prefer, how many pounds did you have to lose before being able to see the change?

    I didn't really notice a difference until -20 lbs. Now at -42 I REALLY notice a difference.

Nice to know it didn't take THAT long, girls :) I'm at 5 pds, and I haven't noticed anything. And when family says that they have, I figure they're just trying to be nice. The only plus so far is that I look better in ONE pair of jeans, but that's about it. It's a worn out pair too, so I only wear it at home...

Still wondering about the others? Anyone else want to put in their two-cents?

I actually haven't lost anything and I'm starting to notice a difference. I don't know what your starting weight was but I am only looking to loose about 20 pounds... so I"m building muscle. I'm noticing more definition, especially in my arms. I've been at it for about three weeks though. (I know my ticker says I lost 3 pounds but those 3 tend to go back and forth every week (it's very frustrating))

I noticed around 10 pounds, but had someone else notice after about 5.

Good for you on getting more toned :) I've been at it for a little less than 3 weeks as well, starting at 194 lbs, so I have quite a bit to lose (aiming for 140 lbs at the moment). Just remember that when you're building muscle the best indication is either a measuring tape or preferably, your clothes, since muscle will actually add to your weight. Keep it up!

I honestly haven't noticed ANYTHING in the mirror. I notice that my clothes / shoes / bras are getting loose, and my mom keeps complimenting me on the weight I've lost, but I don't see anything myself. I think I'll always see myself as the same fat girl until I'm not so fat. I started measuring so I can just keep track.
