Completed my first week on MFP =D

Hello everyone!! Today was a very good day! It started off with stepping on the scale and seeing that I lost 3lbs! Which probably set me on the right track to a fabulous day. Work was same old same old but my coworkers and I have decided to do the 5k walk for breast cancer in Oct. Now I have even more motivation to lose weight! I have to admit that I am a little bit nervous because I have never walked more then a mile before but I know I can do it!! The 5k walk for breast cancer is going to be a challenge but its for such a great cause I can't wait to put all my effort into completing it. I have never felt this good and I have only been on this diet for a week. I can't wait for the time to fly and the lbs to melt off!!

PS I just want to say that I love MFP! I am inspired by everyone on this site and I enjoy reading all the post from so many people sharing their stories.

    Congratulations on your loss! MFP is an amazing place. Make sure you make lots of friends and lean on them for support and advice when needed. Best wishes! W

    Well Done for losing 3lbs :drinker: I'm two days into dieting seriously again. I got the app on my phone first then found the site. I'm liking what I see so far and loving the bar code reader. Nice people on this site as well.

    That's amazing! A little tip on marathons/5Ks-When you see all the other people participating in the run, it sets off an adrenaline rush when you start and you push yourself without even realizing it. You'll do great, if anything just start walking or doing interval jogging! Good luck!

    Thanks everyone!!! This website is seriously changing my life and I love it! I have never felt this good in such a long time. Reading all the replies on my post was exciting and a little bit emotional. I just can't believe what an awesome support system this website has!

    How do I go about making a just giving webpage? I would love to get sponsored!!!
