Does anyone use ketostix? What’s the story on them? What time of day are you suppose to use them? I’ve tried it & It's always a faint, faint pink or tan.

Are you diabetic? As a nurse, I use them with patients when their blood sugar is high (usually ^300). It's to see if there is any ketones spilled in the urine as a result from the high blood sugar...I don't know why you would use them if you weren't diabetic..Anyway, there is a color code on the side of the bottle to compare your strip to.

I eat along the GI, recommended by my doctor, due to migraines cause by sugar & starches.
  • Some people use them with Low-Carb diets. They tell you if your body is in Ketosis and how much so. I used them when I was doing Medi-Fast and they would usually turn a Medium Purple and I always used them first thing in the morning.

Gotcha! I haven't had all my coffee yet this morning and truly didn't even think about altered diets and such. Good luck on your journey!
