I'm not new to weight loss having lost my weight over 5 years ago but tools like myfitnesspal are the greatest for not only losing weight but maintenance as well!

I lost over 120 lbs...and have maintained that loss now for over 5 years! I'm on myfitnesspal because I believe getting support, tracking our food choices and exercise, learning about nutrition and staying active are SO important to weight loss AND maintenance.

I still track daily. I usually track my food on paper but thought I'd try this way and see how it goes.

Just thought I'd introduce myself! Keep on going for the goal!!

After being obese for over 21 years...it only took me 19 months to get to my goal weight set by my doctor. I then went on to lose another nearly 20 lbs. to get to my current weight within about 4-5 months. I've been maintaining that lower weight (with a fluctuation of about 7 lbs.) for 5 years last February. I still want to lose about 4-5 lbs. but I'm still within my fluctuation range and still under the original goal weight. It's not been hard...the hardest part was finally deciding what is is I REALLY want.

Aw...shucks...how does one go about putting the weight ticker on our posts? I thought I did it correctly but...hey...I'm kind of challenged that way today I guess!
