Trouble with S.I. joint.....

Has anyone else experienced pain with their S.I. joint? If so, what did you do to fix the problem? My friend is a PTA and she worked on it for me and gave me stretches and exercises to do, but I still want to keep running.

    I have this problem as well. My chiropractor has kept me going the last few years. I also started wearing "shape ups" when I walk/run. They really cut down on the amount of impact my hip has to absorb. Some people cannot wear these shoes through, so unless you are use to wearing them, start slow. You can also get inserts for your shoes.

    Thanks for the tip. Maybe I will try the inserts for my shoes. I just started getting back in shape and I don't want to stop now! My friend is a PTA and she really helped me the other night, but the next morning I went running again and BAM the pain was back. Have you found it any less painful once you become in better shape?
