I did yard work today, just short of an hour and a half worth. I put in 89 minutes of exercise, and it says I burned 888 calories. That doesn't seem quite right, or am I wrong there?

I was mowing (push mower), weed eating, edging and cleaning up, part blower and the final clean up with a broom. I could see a couple hundred burned, but not 888 haha

888 does seem like a lot. On a scale of 1 to 10 how did you feel? Did you feel like your HR was up pretty high?

My heart rate was up, yes. But it never felt like it was beating out of my chest, except for when I was pull starting that damn blower that didn't want to start haha. I might change it on my diary to reflect 200 or so, I doubt very seriously a burned that many

I guess it depends on how you calculated your BMR. If you said you were sedentary I would give it a couple hundred calories, otherwise I wouldn't bother including it.

Next time, take your HR manually 5 times, average it and enter it here for an accurate burn:

I take mine in 15-second stints then multiply by 4 so I don't have to stop working out for 60 seconds at a time. Hope this helps!
