New to this app and looking for advice

Hello,
I'm mom of a two month old and I'm breastfeeding.
I'm almost back to my prebaby weight, but I'm wanting to be in better shape than before I got pregnant. Before I got pregnant I was about 165, and now I'm 170; I'd like to lose about 40lbs.
Anyone have any good advice or tips on eating plans, workouts, etc that works(worked) for them?

    MFP is a great start! Look into HIIT or Boot Camp style exercise as well. I go to Orangetheory Fitness and have lost over 40 pounds, but find what suits you best and stick with it! :)

    I have a nearly four month old that I'm breastfeeding. Do your research to make sure your supply of milk doesn't drop, and don't let having your baby there stop you from working out!! I put my baby on the mat and do my yoga with my baby there or lift her up and down to work out my arms, etc.
