Hungry before bed on 2000 cals

It could be a lot of things. It could be you're used to eating at night; not getting enough water; too many carbs/day and not enough protein; not getting enough fiber. I remember talking to my nutritionist and telling her I was still hungry even though I was hitting my caloric intake. She told me to increase my fiber intake, and that did it. Talking to a nutritionist about where you can make some tweaks to your food intake would be a good idea.
I was thinking fiber as well but took a look at the OP's diary and see she is regularly surpassing her fiber goal.0 -

I'm eating filling, healthy unprocessed meals for the most part. This is annoying! Im lifting heavy 4-x a week and then doing intense cardio 2x a week. Should I just eat more?
What percentage of your exercise calories are you eating back?0 -

I'm hitting around 30g + of fibre easily most days

I've doing iifym and when when I inputted by level of activity, it told me to eat 1990 calories to lose 0.5 pounds so I'm hitting that amount but going over by around 100 cals most days0 -

I peeked at your diary and saw a lot of entries for pita bread. Personally 300 cal of pita bread in the evening isn't going to fill me up like 300 cal of say sweet potato or other veggies would.
I really don't like sweet potatoes and up til recently, I've been eating a lot of white potatoes as my last meal, with protein and veg but it was filling me up even less. The whole meal pittas do tend to fill me up considerably more than potatoes. Rice does nothing for my satiety levels unless I'm eating a ridiculously large amount0 -
Personally, if I ate dinner at 6 PM and went to bed at 11 or 12 I'd be gnawing my arm off! I go to bed at 12 and usually have dinner at 9:30. Could you lower some of your meal calories enough to give you calories for some kind of snack to eat before bedtime?0

Giant salads and piles of vegetables works well for me when I'm motivated.0
