diet advise!

Is anyone doing a certain diet? (for ex. South Beach)
just wondering cause i'm just counting calories and i want to make sure i dont maintain my weight.
I live with my parents still and normally whatever they fix i eat. i'm not much on cooking. but i'll do what i have to
to lose weight.

    I try to eat a balanced diet.......have some of the old weight watchers ideas in my head from years ago, when it was a bit different program........ but, I don't count points, only calories. Interested in that 17 day diet that Dr. Phil mentioned yesterday, might try that if I plateau......

    Ithis time I am not sticking to certian diet but sutting my calories and trying to make those healthier choices, like I fix a normal meals for my familh and eat what they do but take a smaller portions and more for the veggies, I am not forbidding even candy bars but in cutting down how often I have them I when I do I split it in half and give the other half to one of my kids so I am not tempted to eat the whole thing, and Water water water oh yeah and lots of water. I am 10 days in and down 5lbs

    Wellllll I am not rigght now was maybe going to do that soon! But trying the calorie thing first. I have been on here for six days now and have lost six pounds....so seems to be doing the trick for now! I am sooooo happy and excited I ran into this site....it literally just popped on my screen without me punching anything in....strange! But sewriously if you stick with the countign calories and being active everyday you should notice a difference. Also....I would say that if you can tell the food is not for you do not feel guilty to say no...i know it is hard but it is for YOU...not to make someone else feel better?! So if you have to make a huge salad and keep it n the fridge so that everytime you cannot eat the familys dinner you have to do that and grill up some chicken (so tasty with a tiny bit of red wine vineerette and i use two tablespoons of garlic vinagerette-gredessa ((from aldi's))...and a alot alot of lettuce and add different select veggies) anyways...I am kinda rambling AGAIN. If you notice yourself not losing weight...then maybe step up you're workout a notch...like go faster harder :) Cuz you're body knows how hard you are working. Oh and also I have not been eeating those calories that I burned....Unless I can feel my body needs something....listenign to your body and not your mind is a key I think.....I dont know I hope I am not just irritating lol...and hopefully helpfull. I am here for you girl. Its tough but I am in such a better mood lately and cannot weight. I believe in myself and you for thart matter WE can do this....WE deserve it....and one pound is one pound. If you have a chance to hold one pound of anything do it...its crazy to think ONE POUND has just shedded from your body! ok ill stop now! have a nice day girrrll
