I had my bottom 2 wisdom teeth removed 4 days ago and have been recovering pretty well and have waited 4 days so far of no weight lifting. I want to go back to the gym tomorrow because I am feeling good and my dentist said I can return to exercise 4 days after (This will now be 5 days). I didn't specify to him that I do heavy lifting and take a preworkout supplement prior to working out. Would it be completely safe to take preworkout and continue my daily weight lifting routine tomorrow? I tried to find information on if it was okay taking preworkout after getting wisdom teeth out but have had a good recovery and want to get some feedback before doing so. Thanks

if you are on pain meds still, I would stay off the pwo...just drink some coffee or suck it up without it

I assume you're recommending to stay off the PWO because of caffeine? If so, then why recommend coffee?

    OP - go for it!

I went back to lifting 3 days after getting wisdom teeth removed. Suffered no problem.

Keep in mind that any surgery--no matter how beneficial--is a trauma to the body; you'll want to give your body and your immune system as much time to heal as you can possibly stand. I went back to my running routine way too early after my wisdom teeth removal and paid for it

Just call your dentist or oral surgeon and specifically ask. They'd rather tell you now than perform emergency treatment later.

I had a traumatic wisdom teeth removal. It was 2 weeks before nerve pain died down, and 3 weeks before I could sleep through the night due to pain. There's a lot of healing still going on, so just take it slow and easy...and get the doc's blessing!
