I've lost 60lbs since February 2016 mainly from eating healthier and walking. I now need to start exercising more to tone. I want to lose another 30 lbs but am ok with the scale at this point if I can tone. Mainly my inner and outer thighs and biceps. This is where I hold my weight and have the most loose skin. I do have exercise bands, 10lb weights, treadmill, stairs. I do not have access to a gym. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Congrats on the progress so far.

Unfortunately, the weight is going to come off where it wants to as you continue to lose. It may come off of your thighs and arms next, or it may not. Continue to do what you've been doing as far as your intake is concerned. It seems like you've figured out a solid deficit with an average of 1-1.5lb loss per week.

As for toning without gym access: it can be done. Having more options will make it easier, but I understand that sometimes you just have to make do with what you have at your disposal. If your goal is to continue to burn calories for body fat loss, you'll want to find a proven hypertrophy program (I don't know of many because I'm fat and only train for strength). With the light weights that you have access to, I'd recommend high reps, high sets, and find a way to incorporate your equipment with some High Intensity Interval Training. I'm not sure of your finances and home space, but if you can expand on equipment, I'd definitely try. Find higher resistance bands, heavier dumbbells, etc.

As for exercises: banded squats, goblet squats, push ups, banded good mornings, there are SEVERAL choices.

My wife doesn't have access to a gym either, but she does yoga and has dumbbells, and she's ripped. So it can be done.

Look for workouts online and YouTube that use the things you have access to.

And I would recommend a few yoga classes if you have someone teaching nearby.

In the link, there are some options for bodyweight routines you can do at home with little to no equipment. Maybe look into one of those?

    Congratulations and great work!

I 100% second FitnessBlender--they have a huge variety of workouts (which is great if you're like me and get bored easily) and as the previous poster stated they have a ton that are dumbbell only or even body weight only (there are workouts with other equipment options as well if you do end up getting more

There are tonnes of workout routines that you can find on line. The PPs above have given some great suggestions.

These are my 2 favourite programmes for a beginner, I still use them when travelling. They are simple, straightforward, effective, and need little equipment.

If you can't do a move as shown, modify it and make your goal to be able to do it as shown. Same with doing 3 sets- work on completing 1 well, then two etc.
Re jumping jacks, I am not a fan of them, and a lot of people find them too high impact. I march in place or do step ups, both with arm movements. Just keep your heart rate up.

Cheers, and well done on your loss so far, h.

ETA 2nd routine. In phone so had to go find it :)

I use FitnessBlender- dumbbells only- you could add 5s and then build slowly as you get stronger. They have tons of free workouts, I mix it up with strength, HIIT, cardio, plyo, yoga, pilates- and they have videos that mix them together. All free on YouTube!!

My butt is inches higher than it was :)

I know I sound like I work for them, but I'm really just a fan. They don't try to sell you anything, they don't push products, they are not annoying- just get in, work hard, done!

I am soooo with you (even on the butt part lol)! They have changed my life in the best possible way  seriously, they are the sweetest most helpful people ever and I never loved fitness as much as when I started following Fitness Blender.

Editing to add: they do sell 4 or 8-week programs where they put their workout videos together so you have a plan for those weeks. These are reasonably priced and yours to use and reuse as often as you like. I have happily bought several, reused them many times and that's just cause I like having my workouts planned for me and know I'm working out all areas equally. But you can totally just use their videos to do your own thing completely free (which I also do!).

Thank y'all so much. I am definitely going to be looking into fitness blender. I started doing squats (1 legged chair squats, sumo squats, etc), side steps with bands, planks, push ups and sit ups 2 days ago. Everything hurts today.

Congrats on the weight loss. I also second HASFit like the person recommended above. I also recommend BeFit In 90. Both are found on YouTube. Fitness Blender bothers me because of the white background.
